Next Day Orders:

For next-day orders, you need to let us know by 12pm if you want to cancel. If you cancel before that time, we’ll give you store credit in the form of an e-voucher. This credit can be used when you make another order. 

We work on a first-come, first-served basis, so if you cancel after we’ve started making your cake, it affects our schedule, and we won’t be able to refund you. We’ve already put in time and ingredients to prepare your order.

All Other Orders:

For orders with more than 48 hours’ notice, you can cancel and get a store credit in the form of an e-voucher if you need to. But if you cancel with less than 48 hours’ notice, unfortunately, we can’t offer you a refund.

Store Credit:

Store credit is valid for 12 months from the date on which you cancelled your order. If the total of your new order is less than the store credit on your e-voucher, it will be paid entirely by your store credit. If the total is more than you have on your account, you will simply need to pay the remainder either by credit card or other forms of payment, just like with any other purchase.

Allergies:

We take special care to prepare our gluten-free and vegan products in a way that minimises the risk of allergen cross-contamination. We don’t use gluten, eggs, or dairy ingredients in these products, and we have separate utensils for making them. However, it’s important to note that our kitchen also handles ingredients like gluten, dairy, eggs, nuts, and soy. While we do our best to prevent cross-contamination, we can’t guarantee that our gluten-free and vegan products will be completely free of these allergens.

We’ve provided information about how we handle our gluten-free and vegan products and the potential risks involved. Therefore, if you have allergies or sensitivities to gluten or dairy and choose to consume our products, we cannot be held liable for any adverse reactions. As a result, we are unable to offer refunds in these cases.

 

Important Notice:

We are unable to provide a refund on a cake that has been consumed.

Should we be unable to fulfil your order for any reason, we will notify you by phone or email as soon as possible, and you will receive a full refund.

Any cake placed outside during an event has the possibility of melting or deforming due to the heat. We are not liable for a cake once it has been delivered.

 

Delivery

By agreeing to our terms and conditions, you acknowledge that once your cakes leave Memo Cakery, we cannot control their journey to you. While all cakes are securely packaged as they would be for in-store collection, there is inherent risk when opting for delivery. Although our courier drivers are briefed on the fragility of our items, please be aware of this factor when selecting delivery. While we recommend collection for your peace of mind, we cannot guarantee the pristine condition of your order once it leaves our premises.

Gifting 

If you are gifting cakes for delivery, we can instruct the courier company, upon your request, to leave the order at the delivery premises if no one is available. However, please note that our cake packaging is not completely airtight, and we cannot be held responsible for the cakes’ safety or condition if left unattended. We highly advise ensuring someone is present at the delivery address to receive or sign for the cakes before placing your order.

Pricing

 

All prices are listed in New Zealand Dollars (NZD) and include GST. We strive to keep our prices current and may adjust them as necessary. Each item is individually priced, and we reserve the right to modify our prices at any time. Rest assured, if you’ve already placed an order, we commit to fulfilling it at the price indicated at the time of your order.

 

Late or Missing Refunds

If you haven’t received a refund yet, please check your bank account once more.

Then contact your credit card company; it may take some time before your refund is officially posted.

Next, contact your bank. There is often some processing time before a refund is posted.

Sale Items

Only regular priced items may be refunded. Sale items cannot be refunded.

Exchanges
